Sherwood Forest is a quiet mountain community located in Divide, Colorado. Situated at an elevation of approximately 9,100 feet, Sherwood Forest is surrounded by mountain views of Pikes Peak to the east and the Sawatch Mountain Range to the west. Residents enjoy peaceful mountain living and access the area via county-maintained roads and share the forest with various wildlife to include deer, elk, fox, skunk, bear, and mountain lions. The evening hours display beautiful sunsets and the morning sunrise views are often spectacular.
Sherwood Forest's annual fundraiser is the first Saturday in August. Robin Hood's Dash-n-Dine is a 5K run/walk and Pancake Breakfast that is open to the public and offers a fun and safe event that brings families and friends together for the good of the community to benefit the school children in Sherwood Forest.
